Lee lives on Green Street. It is a rainy day. Lee sits at the window. He looks at the gray street.

Raindrops land on the roof. Lee is sad. "Rainy days are bad," he said. "No play for me!"

Lee gives a groan. He will stay in and sleep all day. He will not go to the street.

Faye is on the street in a yellow coat and big boots. "Come play, Lee!" Lee puts on his coat and boots. Slip! Lee is wet.

Lee is grumpy. "This is bad!" His boot is stuck in a big puddle. He pulls and pulls.

Faye grins. "Look in the puddle, Lee!" Lee looks. He sees his own grin. Lee stomps. Spray goes up high!

His boot is free! Lee and Faye stomp in each puddle. Spray, spray, spray! Faye has a boat. They float it in the big pool.

Then a rainbow shows up. Lee grins at Faye. "Rainy days are not bad," he said. "I love puddles!"
